Did you know local pharmacies can provide NHS advice, treatment and, where appropriate, prescription medicine for 7 common conditions without you needing to see a GP?

If you fill in an online health form, one of our care navigators may also refer you to the pharmacy for eligible conditions.

Your pharmacist can assess and treat:

Earache: children aged 1-17

Impetigo: adults and children aged 1+

Infected insect bites: adults and children aged 1+

Shingles: adults aged 18+

Sinusitis: aged 12+

Sore throat: aged 5+

Uncomplicated UTIs: women aged 16-64

The pharmacist will assess your symptoms and provide appropriate advice and treatment. If they feel you need further medical attention, they can advise you on the next steps.
